1 - Affiliate to Hockey Wales
Create an account and log in
Add Individual Membership
For parents/guardians adding 1 or more children, go to the members tab and click add new member. Once you have added another member, ensure that you add an individual membership for each child
Player 18+ - £59
Teens 13+ - £35
Juniors 12 and Under - £25
Payments can be split with Klarna at checkout
Affiliation fees are needed to ensure we can all play hockey. Please see the link below for more information from Hockey Wales:
2 - Initiate Monthly Membership Payments
In the next coming days you will see a payment request for membership fees appear on your spond account payments tab, this must be initiated before 10th September. If you need to start at a later date, please email membership@denbighhockey.co.uk
Membership fees are paid monthly between the months of September and March.
7 Payments of:
£36 Monthly - Senior Player (18 + on 1st September 2026)
£30 Monthly - Teen Player (12 to 17 on 1st September 2026)
£24 Monthly - Beavers Squad Player (Junior team by invite only)
£20 Monthly - Junior Player (Age 11 and Under)
What does your membership fee cover?
- Playing Shirt (Haven't ordered one yet? Contact 07723649406)
- Pitch Hire
- Umpiring fees
- Club fees and insurance
- Equipment purchase
- Coach and volunteer education (Coach courses, first aid courses etc)
As a club we aim to be affordable as possible for our members, and membership fees have been calculated at as low a cost as possible to cover all clubs expenses.
Sibling / Family Discount available
This is applied automatically by spond when paying for multiple memberships. You will pay the first membership full price, then get 30% discount on additional memberships. The discount will always be on the lower priced membership.

3 - Register on GMS (All Players Age 12+)
How to Register on GMS
All league players (Mens & Ladies Development included) must be registered on England Hockey GMS.
1. Go to GMS
gms.englandhockey.co.uk
Select Register / Create an Account.
2. Create your account
Enter your details and verify your email if required.
3. Join Denbigh Hockey Club
Log in, search for Denbigh Hockey Club and request to join.
4. Wait for approval
Once approved by the club, you'll be registered and can be added to match sheets.
Already have a GMS account? Log in and request to join Denbigh rather than creating a new account.
Under 18? A parent/guardian should register the player through their account.
4 - Join the Denbigh HC Whatsapp Community

All players and junior parents should join our WhatsApp Community to receive club updates and access relevant group chats.
1. Join the Community
Use the Denbigh Hockey Club WhatsApp Community invite link and select Join Community.
2. Join your announcement group (Only admins can message in these groups)
Please join the group relevant to you:
Men's players – Mens Announcements
Ladies' players – Ladies Announcements
Junior parents – Juniors Announcements
Please keep announcement groups unmuted as these will be used for important club updates relevant to each section.
3. Join your relevant chat groups
Please also join the relevant general chat:
Men's players – Mens Club
Ladies' players – Ladies Club
Junior parents – Juniors Club
These groups are for general discussion and can be muted if you don't want regular notifications.
